1st Place Award

Once Again America is trying to gain first place among the world countries and this time it is not something to be proud of but rather to hang our heads in shame at. Russia leads us at the moment but with Obama and Attorney General Eric H Holder, Jr. in charge can we be far behind?

On February 3rd,2009  our vice mistake (oops)  I mean vice president Joe Biden swore Mr. Holder in as the 82nd Attorney General of the United States. In the mission statement as reflected in the Strategic Plan for fiscal years 2007-2012 , it states that the DOJ is guided by the following core values.

Equal Justice Under the Law. Upholding the laws of the United States is the solemn responsibility entrusted to us by the American people. We enforce these laws fairly and uniformly to ensure that all Americans receive equal protection and justice under the law.
Honesty and Integrity. We adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior.
Commitment to Excellence. We seek to provide the highest levels of service to the American people.
We are effective and responsible stewards of the taxpayers’ dollars.
Respect for the Worth and Dignity of Each Human Being. We treat each other and those we serve
with fairness, dignity, and compassion. We value differences in people and ideas. We are committed to the well-being of our employees and to providing opportunities for individual growth and development.

Here are a few of the possible effects of trends:

Economy:  The departments role in the federal financial recovery effort may increase through   criminal and civil litigation.

Government: Changes in the fiscal posture or policies of state and local governments could have significant effects of the capacity of state and local governments to remain effective law enforcement partners.

OK, I got off track for a moment there but let’s resume, shall we?

Every year hundreds of thousands of  law-abiding citizens are having their lives ruined for the simple fact that they enjoy having a smoke that some Quaker 70+ years ago had a hard-on for.

Here’s one of the most recent and most harsh penalties handed down for marijuana.

Patricia Spottedcrow from Oklahoma sold a measly $31.00 worth of marijuana and in turn received a 12 year prison sentence. A mother of four found her life in turmoil and is still serving the time.

Can we sit idle and let our government get away with treating americans unjustly at their leisure? Why would we? Did americans sit idle when prohibition on alcohol was introduced, don’t think so. The bathtub gin was flowing freely but the movement to rectify the problem was strong enough that the government had to listen and acknowledge that a mistake was made and guess what, people drink all the time now. Let’s get with the program and let our representatives know we are no longer interested in a mock government and that rulers like the socialist president we now live under will not/can not be tolerated any longer! Put an end to this non-sense and concentrate on things that truly are a harm to this country. For example, playing risk and putting our noses and resources where they are not wanted, lets instead put that money toward helping ourselves. Simplicity is the answer. President Obama, Quit treating this country and it’s citizens like they don’t matter. Quit playing up to the media on every unfortunate thing that happens. Quit being a showboat, wanna-be movie star and start concentrating on this country’s needs. I really think you could just Quit being a #%*^  up and start being what you are paid to be, a serious leader of the most powerful country since the roman empire. Let the silly things go and concentrate on business or Quit the job!

General Attorney Holder, wake up and realize that it only hinders american justice to pursue outdated laws and lean toward improving the economy by legalizing marijuana thus not only allowing the pursuit of happiness but also the pursuit of financial security and the pursuit of justice. I mean that,s  your job isn’t it?

And to the citizens of this great country: Get your voice heard! Stand up for what you believe in! Tell our leaders enough is enough! And most of all let’s take back our right to the pursuit of happiness and end this abortion of A.J. Anslinger once and for all!
